If you are an entry or mid-level employee in the industry, you can acquire one of eight supply chain management certifications offered through the SCPro™ Fundamentals Certification Program. SCPro™ Fundamentals offers courses in supply chain management that will prepare participants to earn industry-recognized certifications through the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
If you are new to the industry and/or entry and mid-level employee you can also enroll in trade-related certificate and degree programs at Grossmont College, Palomar College, or Southwestern College. These colleges offer basic and intermediate certificates of achievement and Associate’s Degrees in International Business, International Logistics and Transportation, as well as preparation for the Customs Broker Exam. If you are an experienced professional in the field, you can benefit from the APICS Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification. This certification is designed for supply chain management professionals. Preparation courses for the APICS certification are offered at Southwestern College’s Higher Education Center in Otay Mesa.
